Let's celebrate The World Bicycle Day with riding bikes and baking bike cookies! :)
It's excellent, if you have a bike cookie cutter. You may buy it or make yourself by 3D printer or from tin. Or if you have a bike figure, you may use it as a stamp.
Ingredients:
- 200 g sugar powder
- 200 g butter
- 300 g flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 egg yolks
Sift the flour and sugar powder to a bowl, add salt and cubed butter that is not very cold. Grind it all with hands, then add yolks and quickly knead the shortbread dough.
Roll the dough to 3-5 mm and cut the cookies. Put them on a tray con\vered with baking paper and put into a fridge for 10-15 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180C (356 F) and bake cookies 20-30 minutes, to golden light.
Put bike cookies on a plate.
You may decorate cookies with chocolate, icing or sugar powder.
