It’s a pleasure for me to share this easy apple pie recipe with you, dear friends! Because it is really the easiest and tastiest homemade apple pie from all that I have baked.
This is an apple sponge pie, very tender and delicious.
Time to cook it is near 20-25 minutes for preparation and 30-35 minutes for baking.
You need mixer and demountable baking pan 22-24 cm in diameter.
Preheat the oven to 356 F (180 C).
Peel and core apples, cut in small pieces. Sprinkle apples with lemon juice so that they do not darken.
Whisk eggs room temperature and sugar with mixer.
Begin at low speed and gradually raise it during 4-5 minutes, till the whisked mass become light and spongy and will increase in volume two - two and a half times.
Sift to the whisked eggs the flour with the baking powder.
Add salt and mix round by spatula carefully till you’ll stir all dry ingredients in the dough.
Put apples into the baking pan and pour the dough over them. You may sprinkle the apples with sugar and a pinch of cinnamon.
Put the pie into the preheated oven and bake at 180 C (356 F) during 30-35 minutes till the toothpick come out of dough clean.
Let the apple pie to cool slightly in the off oven, then remove it from the pan to dish. Open the form and cover the pie with a pan lid, rotate it all, take off the baking paper. Cover the pie with a dish and rotate again.
Sprinkle the apple pie with sugar powder.
Cut it in pieces and serve for tea.
