You want some homemade sweets for tea quite now! Or you need an easy, quick recipe of pastry for your guests? Let’s bake those delicious apple puffs!
Tasty apple puff pastry will take only 10 minutes of active cooking and 30 minutes of waiting, and you will have an excellent homemade bakery!
This pastry is making from puff dough which you can buy at a story. I like puff pastry because of its versatility: it may be successfully combined with sweet and salt fillings.
Also you can bake puffs not only with apples, but with cherries or pears, apricots or bananas and chocolate. Sweet less variants – salted cottage cheese with greenery, salmon with spinach, rice, eggs and green onion.
But now I offer to bake apple puffs!
- 500 g puff dough;
- 3-5 apples;
- 2-3 tablespoons sugar
- 0,5 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar powder
Defrost puff pastry by room temperature. Cut it into rectangle pieces near 10x20 cm. cut peeled and cored apples into small pieces and put on stripes of pastry. Left the edges free (2 cm).
Sprinkle apples with mix of sugar and cinnamon.
Bend and close the edges of the puff.
Wrap the puff in a roll.
And seal the seam good.
Put the puffs on a tray covered by baking paper with seams down.
Put into oven preheated to 200-220C (392-428F). Bake apple puff pastry during 25-30 minutes, to golden color and until the dough stratification.
Let cool a little and sprinkle with sugar powder.
Put the puff pastries with apples on a dish.
