Now I offer you to cook a yummy fritters! They are so delicious with crumbly golden edges and soft in middle! Some piping hot tasty fritters - it is a fine idea for your breakfast or lunch.

It’s a very easy fritter recipe with buttermilk and wheat flour. However, you can use a corn or spelta flour, then the fritters will be not only tasty, but healthy yet.

You may cook the fritters without filling or put inside a piece of apple, or banana, or berries! Some cottage cheese, sweet with sugar and raisings or salted with greenery. Any variant must be fine! I give you a basic recipe of the dough, and then you may fantasize as you want:)

Ingredients:
For 30 pieces:
Beat the eggs with the sugar with spoon.

Pour the buttermilk and stir.

Sift the flour with baking soda, add salt and stir again.

If the buttermilk is thick, you need slightly less flour. Then you may add fresh or frosted berries, cherries or pieces of apple.

Pour 1-1,5 tablespoons of oil on a frying pan and heat it. Put the portions of the dough on a well-heated frying pan with a tablespoon.

Fry the fritters on a fire is slightly more than average. When you will see a bubbles on the fritters, it’s time to turn them.


Fry them on another side until golden brown, then take off with the food turner and put on a plate. You may put the hot fritters on a paper towel so it adsorb oil.

Some fritters I made with banana. Pour a part of dough on the pan, put a banana slice in a middle and a little of dough atop. Then fry from both sides.



To the rest of dough I added some black currant.


The fritters with the berries have a light sour taste, and banana fritters are sweeter.

Also you can made cherry or blackberry fritters.
